Nine Dorset brunch spots, from Turkish eggs in Lyme Regis to £35 bottomless brunch in Weymouth, with menu prices, hours, dog rules and hygiene ratings checked.

Four names come up first for brunch in Dorset: Town Mill Bakery in Lyme Regis for Turkish eggs on its own sourdough, the Hive Beach Café for breakfast on the beach, Burnt Toast in Swanage, open from 7am daily, and BEAR in Wimborne, serving brunch all day. Here are those four and five more, every entry checked against the venue’s own website on 26 October 2026.

We have not eaten at these places for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry sets out what the cafe says about itself and what it publishes about its menu, prices, hours, booking and dogs, then adds the Food Standards Agency hygiene rating. All nine hold the top rating of 5. The guide covers the Dorset Council area, so Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are not included.

How we chose

We started with the cafes that publish a breakfast or brunch menu of their own and the places people search for by name, then checked each one’s website on 26 October 2026 for its menu, prices, hours and booking rules. We preferred independents; BEAR is the one chain, included because its Wimborne branch is a brunch-first cafe in a listed building on the High Street. Hygiene ratings come from the Food Standards Agency register, and we left out anywhere rated below 3. Prices are the cafes’ own published prices and can change.
