Cinderella at Weymouth Pavilion runs 19 December to 2 January, adults £22 to £25. Jack and the Beanstalk at the Tivoli, Wimborne, is 12 December to 3 January.

Two professional pantomimes are booked in the Dorset Council area this Christmas. Cinderella at Weymouth Pavilion runs from Saturday 19 December 2026 to Saturday 2 January 2027, mostly at 2pm and 6pm, with adult tickets at £22 to £25. Jack and the Beanstalk at the Tivoli in Wimborne opens a week earlier, on Saturday 12 December, and runs to Sunday 3 January, with adults from £19 and a relaxed performance on 27 December.

Bridport’s Electric Palace has no panto but a run of Christmas family shows on 20 to 23 December, and Dorchester’s Corn Exchange had none listed. Everything here is from the theatres’ own listings on 25 September.

Weymouth Pavilion: Cinderella

The Pavilion’s Cinderella page lists the run as “Sat 19 Dec - Sat 2 Jan 2027, Various Times”, with performances at 2pm and 6pm on most dates in the main auditorium. It is produced by the team behind last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk, with Buttons, Prince Charming, the Ugly Sisters and the Fairy Godmother in the cast list. Prices are £22 to £25 for adults, £21 to £23 concessions, and £84 to £92 for a family of four (two adults and two children), the range depending on the date and seat. The box office is on 01305 783 225, and pre-show meals can be booked in the Piano Bar through the same number.

The what’s on listing also has an Adult Pantomime Cinderella on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 January at 7.30pm, and three earlier Christmas nights: Step Into Christmas 2026 on Wednesday 2 December, The Big Christmas Assembly on Friday 4 December (both 7.30pm) and That’ll Be Christmas on Sunday 6 December at 7pm. Cast names, running time and any signed or relaxed performance were not on the page; we will add them when the theatre publishes.

Tivoli, Wimborne: Jack and the Beanstalk

Made To Measure Productions return to the Tivoli with Jack and the Beanstalk, opening on Saturday 12 December at 1pm and closing on Sunday 3 January at 2pm. Ticket prices are set by date and by when you book: off-peak adults £19 to £20.50 and under-16s £15 to £16.50; peak adults £20 to £21.50 and under-16s £16 to £17.50. A 10 per cent booking fee applies online and there is a £1 fee on box office transactions over £20. The theatre says “all sales are final” with no refunds or exchanges, and that “1 in 10 tickets free” are available for group bookings through the box office on 01202 885566.

There is a relaxed performance on Sunday 27 December at 10.30am, and two adults-only performances on 1 and 2 January at 7.30pm.

Bridport: Christmas shows at the Electric Palace

The Electric Palace has no pantomime, but its December listing has Santa Live! on Sunday 20 and Monday 21 December with shows at 11am (a relaxed performance), 1pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6.30pm across the two days, RB&O’s The Nutcracker on Tuesday 22 December at 2pm, and a free screening of It’s a Wonderful Life on Wednesday 23 December at 2pm. Bridport Youth Productions’ Newsies runs 15 to 18 December at 7.30pm. Tickets are through the theatre’s booking site or the ticket line on 01308 424 901.

Dorchester, Shaftesbury and Sherborne

Dorchester Arts’ what’s on for the Corn Exchange ran to April 2027 on 25 September and listed no pantomime or Christmas family show. Shaftesbury Arts Centre’s website would not connect when we checked, and we will add its winter production if one is announced. We found no theatre pantomime listed in Sherborne.
